Getting to Miling by car is very simple as it you drive through it as you go north on the Great Northern Highway.
When leaving Perth travellers either come up the Mitchell Freeway or come via the Great Eastern Highway via Midland. The quickest way will depend upon which part of Perth you start your journey from.
There is currently no bus or train service to Miling. The nearest coach stop is Moora (see www.MooraWA.com.au)
If coming from central or northern Perth, the quickest way generally is to come up the Michell Freeway, go right to the end and turn right into Burns Beach Road.
From there you continue straight ahead for about 30kms.
Burns Beach Road will turn into Joondalup Drive, then Neaves Road.
Once you reach the end of Neaves Road, you turn left into Muchea South Road and 500 metres on, turn right into Rutland Road. (on your way back this is sign posted to Wanneroo).
At the end of Rutland Road (approx 2kms) turn left onto Great Northern Highway.
Stay on the Great Northern Highway for about 2 hours!!

Bindoon – about 1 1/4 hours to Miling

- petrol available 7 days a week until 8pm
- supermarket, liquor store, pharmacy
New Norcia – about 45 minutes to Miling
- historic, tourism town, monastery, tours, gift shop
- petrol 9-5pm Mon-Sat
- no New Norcia bread sold here btw
Walebing – about 20 mins to Miling
- Roadhouse with food, petrol & liquor. 7am – 8pm 7 days

Only Telstra mobiles will receive reception once you get onto the Great Northern Highway past Bullsbrook and even this is variable along the way. You will get good reception from Telstra in Bindoon and Walebing the rest of the time it will come and go.
